Take your Digital Photography into the field and practice with a professional photographer at some of the most exciting destinations in the Chicago Metro area. We may visit Grant Park, Navy Pier, Bahai Temple, Adler Planetarium, Matthiessen State Park and more. There will be 5 field trips and 5 classroom sessions to heighten and improve your photographic abilities on and after each trip. Come for the fun and take the next step up with your digital camera. | Let’s make lovely images on silk with natural dyes applying Shibori resist technique. Cooking to extract natural materials, (e.g. madder, cutch, logwood, cochineal) mordant processes will be introduced. Over dyeing and use of different mordant (e.g. alum, tannin, iron) create a wide range of hues. Lovely colors, patterns appear magically. |
