Student Jewelry & Metalworking (Ages 14-22)
June 18-July 23 (6 weeks)

Designed with the high school and college student in mind, this class explores the
many techniques involved in making metal art and jewelry. Using skills such as
sawing, soldering, riveting, texturing and etching, students will learn how to take
their ideas from conception to wearable finished metal art. Students will receive
the individual attention they need as they create their projects that can take the
form of jewelry, belt buckles, or other small objects in copper or silver. (The class
fee includes materials such as copper and solder. Students wishing to work in
silver may purchase it at TAC.)
